2018-2019
The Sound Shore Chorale invites all singers to join them in performing gorgeous classical music in their Sunday afternoon concert on May 19, 3pm at the New Rochelle Public Library.  Conductor Richard Slade will lead rehearsals on Mondays at 7:30pm (March 25 through May 13) in New Rochelle.

Bach:                Aria Sulla IV Corda (from BWV 1068)
Brahms:            Geistliches Lied (Op. 30)
Mozart:              Laudate Dominum (from KV 339)
Gerald Cohen:   Psalm 23
Haydn:               Agnus Dei (from Lord Nelson Mass)

Pitoni:                Cantate Domino (Psalm 148) (b.1657; d.1743)

Selections include: Bach’s, Dona Nobis Pacem; Brahms’, How Lovely is Thy Dwelling Place; Faure’s, Cantique de Jean Racine; Handel’s, Zadok the Priest; Hadyn’s The Heavens are Telling; Lewandowski’s, Hallelujah; Mendelssohn’s, He Watching Over Israel; Mozart’s, Lacrimosa; Puccini’s, Humming Chorus (Madama Butterfly); Purcell’s The Bell Anthem; Sullivan’s, The Long Day Closes, and Verdi’s, Va Pensiero.
